Glendora DUI Car Accidents

Police Blotter: Reported DUI Crashes

Local police activity for the week of Nov. 12 to Nov. 18.
The following information was provided by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Nov. 12. Lt. Jamie Caldwell and Lt. Joe Ward on duty.
  • 7:45 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 block of West Galatea Street. The driver was arrested on suspicion of providing a false license, driving without a license and failure to provide a license to officers. The driver was cited and released.
Wednesday, Nov. 14. Lt. Jamie Caldwell and Lt. Joe Ward on duty.
  • 2:53 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 1700 block of South Glendora Avenue. Police arrested Gary Camerena, 20, on suspicion of possessing controlled substance paraphernalia. Camerena was cited and released.
Saturday, Nov. 17. Lt. Rob Lamborghini and Lt. James DeMond on duty.
  • 12:09 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of East Foothill Blvd. Officers arrested the 59-year-old driver on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. The driver was issued a citation and released.
  • 2:02 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted on South Glendora at Carroll avenues. The 24-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal-blood alcohol level. The driver was cited and released.
  • 3:37 p.m. - An injury collision was reported on East Gladstone Street at Willow Avenue. The driver of a white car jumped the curb and hit a cinderblock wall. The driver fled on foot.
  • 7:42 p.m. - A hit and run non-injury occurred on Glendora Avenue near Baseline Road. The driver jumped the curb, struck a light pole and chain link fence. The man took off with his young child and fled on foot.
Sunday, Nov. 18. Sgt. Matt Egan and Lt. Joe Ward on duty.
  • 7:36 a.m. - Officers were called to assist paramedics in the 600 block of East Route 66. A report was taken.
