Multi Vehicle Pile Up on the10 Freeway

California Highway Patrol reported a multi vehicle accident that snarled traffic for hours on the 10 freeway near West Covina Parkway yesterday.  See Story Here:

These types of traffic incidents involving more than one car, truck or SUV are, unfortunately, all too common on the San Bernardino Freeway in and around the San Gabriel Valley simply due to the number of lanes on both east and west bound directions and the sheer volume of traffic.  They are most often due to people traveling at unsafe speeds, following too closely or making unsafe lane changes.

  1. There is no way to caution others regarding the accident ahead of the road. That causes series of accidents and it happens mostly during winter season because of poor visibility.
